Key Responsibilities Design & Development: Create and refine 2D/3D models of mechanical systems and products using CAD and other software. Analysis & Testing: Conduct simulations, experiments, and analyses to test and validate designs, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards. Prototyping & Manufacturing Oversight: Develop and build prototypes, then oversee the manufacturing process for components and systems. Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, operational procedures, and technical reports. Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to International, national and industry / Customer compliance regulations and standards. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and make adjustments to designs as needed. Project Management: Create project budgets and timelines, and ensure products meet customer requirements. Collaboration & Communication: Work with other engineers, designers, project managers, and Manufacturing / fabrication teams to achieve project goals. Mentorship: With 8 years of experience, this role may involve supervising or mentoring junior engineers, technicians, and designers. Required Skills Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, 3D modeling, and knowledge on simulation tools will be an added advantage. Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical, physics, and mechanics knowledge, including Design calculations. Materials Knowledge: Understanding of various materials and their properties and applications. Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with different manufacturing techniques like Machining and Sheet metal fabrication for Aerospace products. Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Solid works, CATIA, Ansys, Etc Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
