Assistant Manager-Engine Design

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and releasing 2D and 3D designs for engine parts and subsystems. This includes engineering releases for new or modified parts and managing Add-Del processes. You will be tasked with designing and detailing engine components and sub-assemblies using NX environment and managing part design in PLM software. Additionally, you will be involved in concept layout preparation, part level design, and detailing for new products, cost reduction, and product improvement initiatives. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing Design Verification Plans (DVP), Design for Excellence (DFx), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will also execute engine and component benchmarking, provide engine assembly support to plants during trials, analyze parts from engine endurance and field testing, and conduct field failure analysis using various Quality Control tools. The ideal candidate should have a B.Tech (Mechanical/Automobile) or MTech (Mechanical/Automobile/Machine Design) qualification with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience.
