Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Electrical Quality to ensure the highest standards of electrical quality across all systems, components, and processes during plant setup.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Planning & Control:

Develop and implement electrical quality control plans for incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product validation.
Define inspection criteria and testing protocols aligned with IS standards.

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure adherence to national and international electrical standards (BIS, IEC, IEEE, MIL).
Support audits and certifications including ISO 9001, AS9100, and other defence-specific quality systems.

Supplier Quality Management:

Evaluate and qualify electrical component suppliers.
Conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions for non-conformances.

Testing & Validation:

Oversee electrical testing (Hi-pot, insulation resistance, continuity, EMC/EMI) for assemblies and systems.
Collaborate with R&D and production teams for design validation and reliability testing.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality deviations.
Prepare monthly quality dashboards and present findings to leadership.

Continuous Improvement:

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other quality improvement initiatives.
