Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - Consumer
Job Purpose
The Debt Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the recovery of overdue payments on loans or credit accounts. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collections targets by visiting customers/agencies.

Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.

Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.

Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.

Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.

Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Case-to-case tracking.

Resolution as per AOP within agreed timelines.

Portfolio management.

Debt collection strategy.

Target achievement.

Regulatory compliance.

Reporting and analysis.

Risk management.

Team leadership.

Vendor management.

Coordinating with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven track record of achieving collections targets by visiting customers/agencies.

Experience monitoring performance against set parameters and providing regular updates.

Knowledge of legal guidelines related to repossessing products.

Ability to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Experience in preparing regular reports on collection activities and performance.

Strong skills in handling escalations and resolving issues promptly.

Experience with Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.

Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Experience in case-to-case tracking and resolution within agreed timelines.

Portfolio management skills.
