Job Description

Position Title: Assistant Manager - D2C Ecom Planning Reports to: Lead- Planning & Trading D2C eCom Location: Bangalore Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager for Business Planning in the D2C eCommerce domain. This role will be pivotal in driving business growth and ensuring operational efficiency across Puma.com and various eCommerce marketplaces. Key Objectives: Business Planning and Forecasting : Develop and manage business plans for the D2C eCommerce channel, including budget preparation and forecasting for the current and upcoming fiscal years. Monitor rolling forecasts (RFC) and set monthly targets accordingly. Budget and Inventory Management : Finalize category and business unit (BU) level buy budgets for future seasons. Coordinate order placements and manage Open-To-Buy (OTB) budgets in alignment with sales projections. Prepare month-on-month (MoM) inward stock plans to optimize stock turnover. Inventory and Warehouse Operations : Oversee warehouse projections and inventory management. Coordinate regional warehouse stock transfers and inter-channel inventory transfers. Sales and Discount Strategy : Design and execute strategic sales and discount plans for full-price, end-of-season sales (EOSS), and major events to drive revenue and customer engagement. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Merchandising, Category, Growth, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of plans. Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Continuously monitor stock cover and sell-through rates to identify opportunities for sales improvement and inventory optimization. Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly business performance reports to support decision-making. Eligibility Criteria And Functional Competencies Required Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in business planning, eCommerce, inventory management, or a related domain. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, SAP, and reporting platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
