Assistant Manager-Costing & Proposal

You will be responsible for evaluating new business proposals submitted by the Business Team and analyzing material, labor, overhead, and operational costs. You will need to submit and discuss the proposal summary in terms of pricing, costing, margins, and commercial terms. Additionally, you will review customer orders with the evaluated proposal, ensuring that all key parameters are considered. You will be required to create project codes, allocate procurement/service budgets, and maintain margins and profitability targets. Your duties will include maintaining records of past proposals, cost data, and pricing trends, as well as approving purchase orders in alignment with the approved project budget. You will prepare project-wise cost/expenses analysis to compare the actual project gross margin to the margin submitted at the proposal stage. Periodical MIS reporting with the HOD and Business Team will be essential. You will also work on enhancing financial management processes to support accelerated growth. Other tasks may be assigned by your Reporting Authority. Qualifications: - CMA/CMA Inter with 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Service Industries - Knowledge of costing of business proposals, contract/commercial terms, pricing strategies, and risk management - Strong analytical and financial acumen - Proficiency in MS Office - Working knowledge in accounting software, preferably experience in SAP B1 - Team player with integrity, willingness to receive and implement feedback, and effective communication skills Skills required: - Financial acumen - Costing - Proposal evaluation - Reporting - Cost accounting - Cost management - Tax accounting,
