Assistant Manager- Cost CoE

As an Assistant Manager in the Cost Centre of Excellence (Cost CoE) at Fidelity International, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to developing a scalable operating framework centered on cost efficiency. You will play a crucial role in enhancing cost transparency, identifying optimization opportunities, and driving business performance while ensuring regulatory compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own and manage the end-to-end accrual and accounting process of cost areas, including people cost. - Create engaging and informative monthly and ad-hoc analysis, analyzing movements with Controlling and Business Finance perspective. - Support month-end process by investigating variances with budget/forecast and provide thoughtful actions and comments to drive business decisions. - Understand and compile stakeholder requests and provide feasible solutions. - Undertake monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and lead the overall month-end close process. - Get involved in an exciting range of FIL-wide projects or tasks relating to your Cost area. - Maintain a high level of risk awareness and develop a sound control environment to mitigate risk. **Qualifications Required:** - Qualified CA/MBA Finance with up to 6+ years of experience in accounting, data analytics, reporting, and reconciliations. - Understanding of cost accounting and its downstream impact on Controllership and Business Finance. - Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles. - Comfortable working with people and teams across the business to develop, share, accept, and implement new ideas. - Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of Essbase, SmartView, Oracle Fusion, Visualization tools like Power BI, Alteryx & Tableau would be an advantage. - Good communication skills and experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment.
