Assistant Manager Civil Department

As an Assistant Manager in the Civil Department at our Gandhidham location, you will be responsible for overseeing civil construction and maintenance activities at the plant/project site. Your key responsibilities will include planning, executing, and monitoring civil works such as structures, foundations, and finishing tasks. You will collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure project timelines are met while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. In this role, you will lead a team of site engineers, supervisors, and contractors. You will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimations, and managing procurement related to civil works. Additionally, maintaining site records, daily progress reports, and updating management regularly will be part of your routine. Handling project documentation and ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements will also be essential responsibilities. To excel in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of civil construction standards and project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other civil engineering software is required. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for effective coordination with various stakeholders. Your ability to manage multiple civil projects simultaneously will be crucial for success in this role. This is a full-time position with both day and rotational shifts at the work location.
