Assistant Manager-Business Analyst - Capital Markets & Trading

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in IFRS 9 Financial Accounting and Reporting for Financial Services at EY, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's mission of inspiring confidence and trust in a complex world. Your role will involve ensuring that clients" accounts comply with audit standards, providing clear perspectives to audit committees, and delivering critical information for stakeholders. You will be part of a team that offers services such as External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and Corporate Treasury - IFRS 9 accounting & implementation support. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate technical excellence in the field of Capital Markets & Trading, with a focus on Equity, Derivatives, and Fund investments. - Design end-to-end digital trading journeys, especially mobile app journeys. - Understand the order lifecycle, including Order Execution, Confirmation, Settlement, and Brokerage & Fees. - Work as a Business Analyst in banking, wealth, brokerage, or trading technology platforms. - Ability to create clear BRDs, Use Cases, User Stories, and Process Flow Diagrams using tools like Visio, Figma, or Lucidchart. - Collaborate with Front Office, Technology, Operations, and Compliance teams. - Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, economics, engineering, or equivalent. MBA or CFA L1+ is a plus. - 8-12 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets, Wealth, or Trading platforms.
