Our cutting-edge manufacturing unit is located in Shivamogga District, Karnataka, at the following address: Plot No 23 EFGH, KIADB Industrial Area, 3rd Cross, Shivamogga, Karnataka. As part of our Maintenance Department, we are looking to hire a dedicated Assistant Manager - Maintenance (Technical) who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in handling aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel molds, along with hydraulic press tools. Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, as well as expertise in designing molds using CAD-CAM or SolidWorks software, is essential for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Mold Maintenance:** Supervise the maintenance, repair, and optimization of aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel molds used in production. 2. **Hydraulic Press Tools:** Maintain the proper functioning of hydraulic press tools, including troubleshooting and repairs. 3. **Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance:** Manage electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure efficient machinery operation. 4. **Mold Design:** Utilize CAD-CAM or SolidWorks software to design, modify, and enhance molds to meet production needs. 5. **Team Management:** Support in leading and mentoring the maintenance team, ensuring safety compliance and smooth workflow. 6. **Preventative Maintenance:** Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs to enhance machine uptime and productivity. 7. **Compliance:** Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations. 8. **Reporting:** Generate and maintain detailed reports on maintenance tasks, machine performance, and mold conditions. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years in maintenance, focusing on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel molds, and hydraulic press tools. **Technical Skills:** - Proficiency in CAD-CAM or SolidWorks for mold design. - Strong grasp of electrical and mechanical aspects of machinery maintenance. - Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Leadership: Experience in team management and project oversight. - Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaboration and reporting. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in the manufacturing industry. - Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
