Job Description

Role Overview: At ISB, as an Assistant Manager in the Information Technology (IT) department, your main responsibility is to execute IT-related services effectively as per the given guidelines and ensure smooth support for LMS Applications. You will play a key role in providing IT infrastructure facilities to all stakeholders to drive strategic objectives in research, teaching, and business functions. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with academic teams, IT, vendors, and development teams for issue resolution and project execution. Ensure effective communication and updates throughout the project lifecycle. Track and report progress of initiatives to management. (40%) - Handle queries, escalations, issues on LMS from various customers on a day-to-day basis, providing regular IT operations support. (10%) - Maintain clear documentation of processes, configurations, changes, and support activities. Ensure compliance with institutional audit standards and academic governance protocols. Maintain a knowledge base to reduce dependency on individuals. (20%) - Assist in planning, configuration, testing, and rollout of new digital academic initiatives. Ensure on-time delivery of project milestones and coordination with stakeholders. Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide feedback for improvements. (20%) - Vet non-core features for the LMS requested by end-users before installing/developing/deploying on the system. (10%) Qualification Required: - Graduate/Masters degree in computers - Strong hands-on working experience with Moodle administration and PHP technologies - Prior experience in implementation and support of Moodle solutions - Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and Server handling and any open-source technologies - Strong exposure to SDLC/Strong Exposure to IT Operations management - Logical and Business function exposure (preferably Education domain) - Interpersonal skills, Customer Orientation, Teamwork, Attention to details - 4+ Years of experience Additional Company Details: At ISB, Information Technology (IT) is a crucial function that supports the organization in providing IT infrastructure facilities to all stakeholders.
