Description
The Opportunity : Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems in production, test, and development environments. Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability, availability, and security of Linux-based infrastructure. Perform routine maintenance tasks, patch management, system upgrades, and kernel tuning. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues promptly. Configure and manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and backup procedures. Implement and maintain system monitoring tools, ing mechanisms, and logs analysis. Manage and automate tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to ensure smooth operation of services. Maintain documentation related to system configuration, standard operating procedures, and best practices. Ensure compliance with security standards, perform vulnerability remediation, and support audit requirements. What you need: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator. Proficient in managing Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or other Linux distributions. Understanding of backup tools and disaster recovery procedures.
