As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our hospitality facility. This dynamic role will require you to work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and lead a team to ensure all areas meet the highest quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction - Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management - Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards - Implement cleaning procedures for various areas, including floors, bathrooms, and guest rooms, utilizing appropriate cleaning techniques such as floor care and industrial cleaning - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around occupancy levels and special events - Address guest requests or complaints promptly to maintain high service standards - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and health regulations within the housekeeping department **Qualifications:** - Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work, with a focus on hospitality or hotel environments - Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods - Previous experience in housekeeper management or hospitality supervisory roles is preferred - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team of housekeeping staff - Knowledge of safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage - Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Prior hotel experience is highly desirable but not mandatory This position offers you the opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience within our facility.
