Job Description

You will be responsible for managing product costing processes (standard and actual costing) for multi-site manufacturing. Your role will involve monitoring and analyzing inventory variances, scrap, yield, and cost absorption. Additionally, you will lead month-end and year-end closing for cost accounting and inventory. It will be your duty to ensure that inventory valuation and costing align with US GAAP and corporate policies. You will also oversee physical inventory verification, cycle counts, and reconciliation. Implementing cost control measures and providing cost optimization insights will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will ensure SOX-compliant documentation and controls around cost accounting processes. You will also be required to liaise with internal and external auditors for costing/inventory-related audits, as well as support new product costing, transfer pricing, and valuation scenarios. Qualifications Required: - CMA/MBA (Finance) with 10-12 years of experience in costing and inventory in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing MNC. - Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX controls, and ERP systems (JDE / SAP S4 HANA preferred). - Hands-on experience in standard costing, BOMs, WIP, variances, and absorption costing. - Analytical skills and ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing and SCM.
