Assistant Fashion Designer

The role of Assistant Fashion Designer is a full-time on-site position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. As an Assistant Fashion Designer, you will play a key role in assisting with the creation and development of new fashion designs. Your responsibilities will include coordinating fittings, working with textiles, and contributing to the embroidery process. You will support the head designer in research, design, and production, while also keeping track of current fashion trends and assisting in material and sample preparation. To excel in this role, you must be able to independently take a design from concept and research to sampling and final production. A strong understanding of technical execution is crucial, as we value more than just sketching ability. You should be skilled in managing production teams, including masters and karigars, to ensure timely delivery, design accuracy, quality finishing, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate must be based in Pune and have hands-on knowledge of khakha (embroidery tracing) creation. You should be proficient in planning and setting embroidery for your own designs. Additionally, you should possess a confident and assertive personality, capable of directly handling clients for custom orders and maintaining smooth communication throughout the process.
