Assistant Fashion Designer

Role Overview: As an Assistant Fashion Designer based in Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the creation and development of new fashion designs. Your responsibilities will include coordinating fittings, working with textiles, and contributing to the embroidery process. You will work closely with the head designer in research, design, and production tasks. Additionally, you will be required to stay updated on current fashion trends and assist in preparing materials and samples. Key Responsibilities: - Independently take a design from concept and research through sampling to final production - Manage production teams, including masters and karigars, to ensure timely delivery, design accuracy, quality finishing, and cost efficiency - Demonstrate hands-on knowledge of khakha (embroidery tracing) creation and be able to plan and set embroidery for your own designs - Possess a confident and assertive personality to handle clients for custom orders and maintain smooth communication throughout the process Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of technical execution beyond sketching ability - Skilled in managing production teams for efficient delivery and quality finishing - Hands-on knowledge of khakha creation for embroidery tracing - Confident and assertive personality for client interactions and smooth communication Please note, only candidates based in Pune will be considered for this role.,
