Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate/graduate courses in English Language, Literature, Communication, and related fields.
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, lectures, and academic activities in alignment with curriculum objectives.
Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic writing.
Conduct assessments, examinations, and provide constructive feedback to students.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and faculty committees.
Engage in scholarly research, publications, and professional development activities.
Mentor and guide students in academic and career-related matters.
Contribute to extracurricular and cultural activities of the department.

Qualifications & Requirements

Masters degree in English / English Literature / Linguistics from a recognized university (Ph.D. preferred).
NET/SET qualification as per UGC norms (mandatory as per regulations).
Previous teaching or research experience at the college/university level preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods and technology.

Preferred Skills

Expertise in English Literature, Linguistics, ELT, or Communication Skills.
Academic research, publications, and conference participation.
Proficiency in digital learning platforms and online teaching tools.
Team-oriented with the ability to contribute to departmental growth.
