Assistant Engineer, Civil Structures

As a Civil Engineer at Ramboll, you will be responsible for FE modelling, analysis, and structural design of bridge and allied structures under the guidance of seniors in the team. Your role will involve coordinating within the design team for project planning, preparation of schedule/WBS, and delivering projects to time and budget. It is expected that you take initiatives to develop your design ability and improve the quality of delivery of the team as a whole. Qualifications: - BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech in Structures would be desirable. - More than 1-2 years of experience in bridge design, with knowledge of design codes like Euro code/DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards being desirable. - Understanding of the analysis and design principles of bridge design. - Hands-on experience in using bridge design software such as LUSAS/STAAD Pro, and knowledge of related software like Sofistik would be desirable. - Knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/MicroStation and ensuring drawings are prepared in accordance with CAD standards. - Good communication skills and ability to present work effectively. - Ability to be a good team member, coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely project delivery. - Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
