Role Description

Viva Books Private Limited is seeking a full-time Assistant Editor: English with a keen eye for detail and a passion for copyediting, proofreading, and fact-checking. As an Assistant Editor, you will be responsible for working on manuscripts in a variety of subject areas, ensuring that they are well-written, grammatically correct, and adhere to style guidelines. This position will be an on-site role based in New Delhi.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in English or linguistics is a

• 1-3 years of experience in copyediting, proofreading, or fact-checking is desirable but not mandatory
• Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to style guidelines and ensure consistency
