Assistant Director and Cinematographer

You are a talented cinematographer who possesses the ability to also create compelling content. Your skills include shooting and editing using both iPhone and professional camera equipment, with proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro. A strong portfolio showcasing your previous work is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the cinematography of short-form and long-form video content, including brand campaigns and social media ads, utilizing both iPhone and professional camera equipment. - Execute lighting setups, framing, and camera operations that align with the visual style of each project. - Conceptualize and direct short-form content for social platforms, primarily for brand storytelling, by understanding scripts and creating visual mood boards. - Support large-scale productions and TVCs by managing shoot logistics, call sheets, and shot breakdowns. - Coordinate with departments during pre-production to streamline execution on set and assist in building pre-production decks and production plans for commercial shoots. Qualifications Required: - Ability to break down scripts, ideate, and contribute to storytelling from concept to execution. - Prior experience as an Assistant Director or 2nd Assistant Director on commercial sets or film productions. - Familiarity with production workflows, shot listing, and visual storytelling for digital formats. - Understanding of art direction and styling to create visually cohesive frames.
