Assistant Designer (UI/UX)

As an Assistant Designer (UI/UX), you will play a key role in designing and crafting unique digital experiences that prioritize user-centricity. Working alongside agile teams comprising developers, UX designers, and product managers, you will be instrumental in making thoughtful design choices to ensure seamless and intuitive interactions throughout the user experience journey. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to optimize designs based on user feedback, creating engaging interfaces for both web and mobile applications, and translating conceptual ideas into tangible user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. You will also be tasked with generating original graphic designs and identifying design challenges to develop elegant solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, will be essential, as you establish design guidelines and best practices while conducting usability testing for continuous enhancement. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and demonstrate a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design experience. Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop/XD, Sketch, or similar software is a must, along with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and mobile-first interfaces. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Illustrator, and JavaScript, coupled with problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, will be crucial for success in this role. Effective communication and teamwork abilities are essential to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include expertise in motion design or animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Lottie), familiarity with front-end development principles, awareness of accessibility standards, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.
