Assistant Consultant - QA

Role Overview: As an Assistant Consultant - QA at our company based in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our projects. With 0-1 year of experience, your excellent communication and writing skills will be essential in this role. You will need to possess good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to effectively analyze, discuss, and report defects. Your strong leadership skills will be instrumental in guiding junior testers and validating defect reports. Quick problem recognition, assessment, identification of alternatives, prioritization, and escalation when necessary will be key to resolving issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Possess very good knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Test process, and AGILE methodology. - Provide timely progress reports of assignments to management for the assigned projects. - Understand and contribute to the Test Plan, Test Design, Regression Suite, and Defect Tracking. - Convert client requirements into system specifications and test plans. - Conduct Bug Tracking, Bug Reporting activities, and Risk Analysis. - Utilize hands-on experience in Jira or any defect tracking tool. - Demonstrate knowledge of various testing types and experience in writing SQL queries. - Screen and validate the application through database and system logs. - Perform web and Mobile Application Testing. - Conduct API Testing using Postman/Swagger. - Implement Automation testing using Java in Selenium. - Understand various Automation Frameworks like Hybrid, Data Driven, Keyword Driven, and Behavior Driven. - Obtain a Software Testing Certification (e.g., ISTQB). - Conduct Mobile automation testing using Appium. - Perform Performance testing using Jmeter. - Gain experience in STB Testing. - Utilize knowledge of GTmetrix for UI testing. - Experience in Jenkins for building automation pipeline for CI/CD, Maven, and Git. - Automate API with HTTP client and Rest Assured. - Have a basic understanding of security testing.
