Assistant Accountant

You will be responsible for providing support to finance and accounts operations as an Assistant Accountant. Your role will involve maintaining accurate accounting records using Tally or similar software, recording journal entries, preparing ledgers, and conducting timely bank reconciliations. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing and filing GST returns, calculating TDS, and ensuring compliance with other statutory requirements. Coordinating with both internal and external auditors will be a part of your responsibilities, where you will need to ensure all documentation is organized and readily available. Keeping meticulous records of bills, vouchers, and other financial documents is essential. You will also be expected to generate periodic MIS reports, assist in financial analysis, handle petty cash transactions, and support various accounting tasks related to budgeting, costing, and inventory. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field and have at least 2-3 years of experience in accounting roles. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and a sound understanding of accounting standards are crucial. Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian statutory requirements is required. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills, along with excellent communication and team coordination abilities, are also essential for this role.
