Assistant Accountant

As an Accountant at Rishikesh location, your role involves managing and maintaining financial records with accuracy and compliance. You will handle purchase and sales billing processes efficiently, recording all transactions in Tally Prime software. Additionally, you will prepare accounting statements, reports, and reconciliation, assisting in financial statements preparation and ensuring timely billing processes. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes while maintaining proper documentation and filing of accounting records. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Handle purchase and sales billing processes efficiently. - Record all transactions in Tally Prime software. - Prepare and maintain accounting statements, reports, and reconciliation. - Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss, etc. - Ensure timely and accurate accounting and billing processes. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. - Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records. Qualifications Required: - 1 to 1.6 years of accounting experience (Preference given to candidates with experience in billing and Tally Prime). - Proficiency in Tally Prime for billing and accounting. - Strong understanding of purchase and sales billing processes. - Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other taxation laws. - Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
