Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Accountant position located in Ahmedabad. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing and filing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with Income Tax and GST regulations. Daily tasks will include bookkeeping, processing invoices, preparing financial reports, and providing administrative support to the accounting team by handling documentation, reconciliations, and audits.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Accounting and Bookkeeping principles and practices
Knowledge of Income Tax and Goods & Service Tax (GST) regulations and return filing processes
Strong skills in Financial Reporting, Reconciliation, and Data Analysis
Attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
