Role Overview: As an Internal Surveyor at Go Digit General Insurance in the Motor Claims Survey & Assessment department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate assessment and efficient claims processing. Your responsibilities will involve surveying and assessing claim applications, verifying the genuineness of claims, preparing detailed reports on losses, processing and settling claims, handling customer and channel escalations, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, maintaining compliance with defined SOPs, and contributing to the overall success of the team. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough assessments of claim applications to determine losses. - Prepare reports verifying the genuineness of claims and ensure proper survey of damaged vehicles. - Process and settle claims following company policies and guidelines. - Follow up on outstanding claims for timely closure. - Address escalations from customers and business channels effectively for swift resolutions. - Work closely with external vendors within specified turnaround times. - Collaborate with law enforcement officials, eyewitnesses, and lawyers as needed. - Maintain strong relationships with workshops and dealers for seamless claim execution. - Ensure adherence to TAT across all assessment and claim processes as per defined SOPs. Qualification Required: - Preferably a workshop background or prior experience in general insurance. - Diploma, BE, or BTech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
