Role Overview: You will be responsible for the assembly, static & dynamic testing, and refurbishment of mechanical seals. Your tasks will include assembling mechanical seals, inspecting incoming materials for defects, testing assembled seals for functionality, preparing and cleaning components for assembly & repair, performing visual and dimensional inspections of finished seals, identifying and resolving issues during the assembly or testing process, maintaining records, and ensuring a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble mechanical seals, including parts like springs, elastomers, metal components, and faces, into completed units. - Inspect incoming materials for defects and test assembled seals for functionality, including checking for leaks, performance, and durability. - Prepare and clean all components for assembly & repair, ensuring they meet required specifications. - Perform visual and dimensional inspections of finished seals, ensuring they meet quality and industry standards. - Identify and resolve any issues with mechanical seals during the assembly or testing process. - Maintain records of all work-related checklists. - Keep work areas clean and organized and maintain assembly tools. - Achieve assembly plans on a daily basis. - Minimize rejection & rework during the assembly process. - Ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer expectations. - Maintain good quality of work during assembly. - Maintain good housekeeping at work area. - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Qualifications: - Experience: 03 to 05 years - Technical Skills: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Proficient in reading technical drawings & specifications of seals. - Experience with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment - People Skills: Good Communication, Problem-solving approach, Attention to details, Flexibility, Safety awareness.
