Assembly Automation Design engineer

As an Assembly Automation Engineer at our Pune (Katraj) location, you will be responsible for designing and developing assembly automation systems for a variety of applications, including engine assembly lines, battery pack assembly lines, gantries, pallets, lifters, conveyors, and material handling systems. With 4 to 8 years of experience, you will utilize your expertise in Solid Edge to create innovative automated solutions. Your key responsibilities will include conceptualizing and developing automation solutions for automotive and industrial uses, designing assembly lines and fixtures, creating 3D models and 2D drawings, preparing Bill of Materials and documentation, conducting design reviews and cost estimations, and supporting prototype development and installation at customer sites while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. To excel in this role, you should possess 4 to 8 years of experience in assembly automation and machine design, proficiency in Solid Edge for 3D modeling and drafting, hands-on experience in various design aspects such as assembly lines, gantries, pallets, lifters, conveyors, and material handling systems, as well as a good understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and machine elements. Additionally, a degree in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering is required.
