Asp.Net Developer

Position:

First preference Trivandrum ONLY

Second preference Anywhere from Kerala

Third preference Anywhere from South India

Mode Of work: Work from Office ( Even though the role is remote, we need candidates who are open to coming to the office whenever required. What weve noticed is that if we call it fully remote at the start, theyre not happy when later asked to travel, even if it’s only on rare occasions)

The keyareas of technical expertise:

Responsibilities:

a. Build and maintain application functionality for new and existing systems using the .Net toolset with a SQL Server back end.

b. Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core MVC frameworks.

c. Integrate web applications with external systems and services using Web services, REST Web APIs, XML, and JSON parsing.

d. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment).

e. Work with business systems analysts and/or project managers to plan and produce deliverables in a very short time frame.

f. With minimal support, must be able to take an idea from creation through construction and launch into production with ongoing support and enhancements.

g. Maintain high standard of quality for code, documentation, and other deliverables.

h. Must be able to author unit test code and be familiar with mock/fake object testing.

i. Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to internal coding standards.

j. Provide estimates for assigned development tasks.

k. Learn and evaluate new technologies and tools as needed.

l. Participate in peer code reviews.

1. Skills & Requirements:

a. Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework/Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and C#

b. Exposure to MVC Framework

c. Knowledge of web services, REST WEB APIs, XML, and JSON parsing.

d. Knowledge of Microsoft Reports for reporting and data visualization.

e. Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement

f. Familiarity with version control tools like SVN, GIT, GitHub, Gitlab, and Azure Repos.

g. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and issue resolution.

h. Excellent communication

i. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies

j. Should have strong technical knowledge.

k. Create technical specifications.

l. Must be a Graduate in Computer Science or any other related field.

• Technical Expertise

Must have done at least 3multi domain intermediate to advanced MVC or CORE MVCprojects from scratch(if unable to get, at least one MVC OR CORE MVC project must be there from scratch)

If no projects from scratch and only enhanced projects done, please reject

Projects must not be product-based

Projects must not be beginner level

Kindly ensure candidates enter both MVC or CORE MVC (if present, both details as well) and .net core projects from scratch as well as enhanced in the Project Summary Excel Sheet shared from our end.Projects from scratch in MVC or CORE MVC is mandatory to be entered in sheet

Must have done coding in MVC or CORE MVC in recent years (within last 2 years & continuing to present). If done long back, reject please

Both front end & back end must have been done using proper MVC framework and not using Web API’s. (If only having Web API’s done this way, reject)

Candidate must be willing to do both coding and client interaction
