AS400/RPG

The role of I-series resources entails developing and maintaining RPG programs and applications on the I-Series platform. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing I-Series system performance, including batch jobs and system backups, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to I-Series applications and systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement enhancements is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will be required to perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance while ensuring data integrity and security through regular audits and compliance checks. Documenting system processes, procedures, and configurations, as well as providing support and training to end-users as needed, are also essential responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with modern programming languages, such as Java and C#, and experience with ERP systems, particularly those integrated with I-Series. Knowledge of cloud migration strategies for legacy systems would be beneficial for this role.
