Role Overview: As an AS400 consultant at NTT DATA in Pune, Maharashtra (IN-MH), India (IN), you will be responsible for utilizing your skills in programming languages such as RPG, COBOL, CL400, SQL, and database knowledge in DB2/400, DDS, SQL/400. Your technical support skills will be crucial in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management. You will need to apply your analytical skills to analyze requirements and identify solutions, while effectively communicating with developers, business users, and clients. Understanding software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum will be essential, along with experience in AS400 tools such as iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS). Experience in areas like Web Services, Application Integration, or Modernization of AS/400 will be advantageous, as well as familiarity with FTP concepts and Automation. Your strong problem-solving skills will enable you to proactively find solutions.
