Art Lead

You will be joining Wit and Chai Group as an Art Lead in Pune with over 8 years of experience. Your role will involve leading the visual direction for various brands across digital, print, film, and on-ground platforms. You will be responsible for building and overseeing integrated brand campaigns with a unique design voice, mentoring a team of art directors, designers, and visualizers, and collaborating closely with strategy and copy teams to create cohesive, story-driven work. Presenting concepts to clients and reviewing work with attention to detail and brand alignment are key aspects of this role. You must stay updated with design trends and platforms while creating work that sets trends rather than follows them. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 8 years of design and art direction experience, preferably in an agency setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing versatility, craft, and creative problem-solving skills. You should have proven experience in leading integrated campaigns and brand identities, the ability to translate strategy into bold design ideas, and a strong understanding of brand systems and storytelling through design. Being an inspiring mentor, a hands-on leader, and demonstrating enthusiasm in your creative process are essential qualities for this role. Bonus points will be awarded if you have experience in creating case studies, design decks, or pitch visuals that have impressed clients, art directing shoots, films, or video content, working across different industries or consumer and B2B brands, and understanding motion, UI/UX, or basic animation principles.
