Area Sales Manager-Judge (General Trade)

As an Area Sales Manager-Judge (General Trade) based in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and distribution activities across the entire Telangana region. With a total experience of 3 to 14 years in a similar role and an MBA qualification (Full Time is compulsory), you will report directly to the Branch Sales Manager and manage a team of approximately 3 to 4 employees. Proficiency in English, Telugu, and Hindi is preferred due to the diverse linguistic landscape of the region. Key Responsibilities: - Sales & Distribution Expansion: Identify and onboard new channel partners to ensure the wide availability of products in key markets. - Trade Marketing Execution: Implement and monitor trade promotions for boosting sales and brand presence. - In-Store Merchandising: Supervise product placement and presentation in retail outlets to comply with brand guidelines and maximize visibility. - Channel Partner Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to drive sales and address issues promptly. - Market Intelligence: Keep track of competitor activities, market trends, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge. - Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand, monitor sales performance, and provide regular reports to management. In addition, you should possess good communication skills and clarity of thought regarding the sales process. A stable work history is preferred, as frequent job changes will not be considered. Extensive experience in channel sales is mandatory, along with the ability to handle a team on roll. Strong data analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, are essential for this role. Furthermore, you should be willing to travel for a minimum of 10 to 12 days as part of your responsibilities.
