Area Sales Manager – Central Kerala

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and drive our FMCG sales operations across the Central Kerala region. The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the performance of the Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and Territory Sales Executives (TSEs), and ensuring strong market presence and effective distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate the TSM and TSE team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Develop and execute area-wise sales strategies to maximize market share and profitability.
• Ensure effective product placement, distribution, and visibility in the assigned territory.
• Monitor primary and secondary sales and ensure target achievement.
• Identify and appoint new distributors and manage existing distributor relationships.
• Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activities and gather market intelligence.
• Plan and monitor trade promotions, retail visibility initiatives, and marketing activities.
• Ensure timely reporting and review of TSM and TSE performance.
• Train and guide sales staff to enhance productivity and improve retail execution standards.

Key Requirements:

• Graduation in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
• 5–8 years of FMCG sales experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong exposure to FMCG distribution network and team handling.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Must be willing to travel extensively within Central Kerala.
• Candidates from FMCG brands in food, beverage, or personal care will be given preference.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
