Area Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Monitor secondary and primary sales performance.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand coverage.

2. Market Expansion

• Appoint and manage distributors in the hosiery and garment market.
• Increase product placement in retail outlets, hosiery shops, garment stores, and modern trade.

3. Retailer & Distributor Management

• Build strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
• Resolve distributor issues related to billing, stock, logistics, or payments.
• Conduct regular market visits to track order flow and stock availability.

4. Merchandising & Visibility

• Ensure proper display of hosiery products (socks, leggings, innerwear, kids wear, etc.).
• Implement brand visibility activities: POP materials, signage, and in-store branding.

5. Market Research & Competitor Tracking

• Monitor competitor products, pricing, schemes, and market activities.
• Share regular feedback with the sales manager.

6. Reporting

• Maintain daily sales reports (DSR).
• Track sales performance against targets.
• Report market insights, sales trends, and performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–5 years in hosiery, garments, sales.
• Strong knowledge of local retail markets.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage distributors and retail channels.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, DSR reporting).
