Area Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet assigned targets.
• Manage, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base in the assigned area.
• Conduct market research to understand competitor activities and market trends.
• Ensure proper coverage of all assigned territories and timely customer visits.
• Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, dealers, and retailers.
• Implement trade promotion strategies to enhance product visibility and off-take.
• Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability.
• Handle escalations and resolve customer queries/issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience: 4–8 years of field sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Industry Preference: FMCG, Pharma, Consumer Durables, or related industries.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Data-driven decision making and reporting
• Sound knowledge of sales planning and territory management
• Ability to travel frequently within the region

• Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
• Sales team productivity and performance
• Dealer/distributor network growth and retention
• Market share improvement
• Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
