Area Manager Corporate Insurance

As an Insurance Portfolio Manager, your role involves managing various types of insurance policies to ensure adequate risk coverage at optimal costs and efficient claims management. Your responsibilities include: - Procuring different insurance policies with sufficient coverage at the best cost - Ensuring timely renewal of insurance policies and meeting internal customer expectations for deliverables - Demonstrating proficiency in managing insurance claims, particularly PDBI claims - Possessing good technical knowledge of insurance products, coverage features, and claims processes - Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Company, Subsidiaries, insurers, surveyors, etc. - Implementing best practices in accordance with the company's guidelines - Ensuring compliance with various processes and conducting internal and external audits - Compiling relevant information on insurance requirements from various departments - Understanding risks and recommending appropriate clauses in insurance policies to mitigate them - Reviewing insurers" and TPAs" performance and ensuring timely settlement of insurance claims - Addressing queries and concerns related to insurance matters promptly - Conducting knowledge-sharing sessions for colleagues from different departments on important insurance policies" coverage and claims processes Qualifications required for this role include: - Graduation with an Associate or Fellow from the Insurance Institute of India - MBA/PGDBA with a specialization in insurance - BE with an additional qualification specialized in insurance These qualifications will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in managing insurance portfolios effectively.,
