Role Overview: As an underwriter for corporate finance business, your primary responsibility will be to manage the portfolio in the assigned area. You will play a crucial role in supporting and co-partnering with business teams to ensure end-to-end credit approval for the designated region. Your role will involve underwriting cases, presenting them to senior levels, and authorizing deviations raised by underwriters in compliance with credit policy. Additionally, you will be responsible for finalizing the review of credit memos, approving or declining files after checking for documentation requests, and approving all disbursement requests based on achieved adherence to requirements on agreement value and full documentation attainment at the branch level. Monitoring and overseeing PDD management to ensure timely completion of personal discussion documents in high-value cases will also be a part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Support and co-partner with business teams for end-to-end credit approval - Underwrite cases and present to senior levels - Authorize deviations raised by underwriters in compliance with credit policy - Finalize review of credit memos and approve/decline files after documentation checks - Approve all disbursement requests based on adherence to requirements - Monitor and oversee PDD management for timely completion - Initiate follow-ups with external vendors for timely query resolution - Co-ordinate with the recoveries team and generate business insights - Lead a team of credit approvers to ensure portfolio quality and delinquencies - Engage in development, implementation, review, and monitoring of credit programs - Provide training and coaching to upgrade team competency and improve processing efficiency - Ensure due diligence in credit analysis, evaluation, underwriting, and sanctioning of loans - Evolve underwriting norms customized to local market needs and enhance consumer credit risk strategy Qualification Required: - MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or Equivalent,
