Area Business Manager - Surat

Cital is the leading B2B eCommerce platform catering to the construction industry and is revolutionising the way businesses meet their needs. We offer a range of products from Safety equipment, Hardware, Wood/Ply, Electricals, and Chemicals, to Scaffolding. It is a venture-funded startup and the most sought-after company in this domain. We’re looking for an Area Business Manager - Surat who knows how to build relationships, navigate the construction industry, and drive sales with confidence. You’ll be on the ground, meeting contractors and builders, understanding their needs, and making sure Cital becomes their go-to supplier for construction materials. This isn’t a desk job—it’s about being proactive, taking ownership, and growing our customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Be present in the field – Visit construction sites, interact with builders and contractors, and introduce them to Cital’s offerings.
• Build genuine relationships – Understand customer needs and recommend the right solutions.
• Drive conversions – Handle pricing, negotiations, and close deals that make sense for everyone.
• Encourage repeat business – Turn one-time buyers into long-term, loyal customers.
• Manage payments – Follow up on collections and maintain healthy credit practices.
• Explore new opportunities – Keep an eye out for trends, untapped regions, or new categories.
• Contribute to growth – Take ownership of your sales targets and help expand Cital’s footprint.

Qualifications:

• 0 to 4 years of field sales experience in Construction materials
• A degree in Civil Engineering or an MBA in Marketing (not mandatory).
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in pricing conversations and closing deals.
• Ability to work independently, stay organised, and follow through.
• Understanding of how contractors and builders make buying decisions.
• Familiarity with the local market and customer behaviour.
• Comfortable using mobile apps or basic CRM tools to track leads and orders.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
