Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Architect to lead complex design projects and contribute to the strategic direction of our firm. The candidate will be responsible for driving architectural design concepts, overseeing project development, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception through completion. This role demands a balance of creative vision, technical expertise, and leadership abilities to manage teams and foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:
• Lead design development and project planning for high-profile and large-scale architectural projects.
• Manage all phases of design, from conceptual design through construction documentation and administration.
• Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Design Development:
• Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that align with the firm's aesthetic and functional standards.
• Prepare, review, and approve architectural designs, plans, and drawings.
• Collaborate with design teams to refine concepts and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
• Oversee and mentor junior architects and design staff, providing guidance on technical and creative aspects of projects.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to enhance team performance and growth.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Client Engagement:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing client relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present design concepts and progress to clients, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
• Build long-term relationships with clients to foster future business opportunities.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
• Conduct thorough reviews of architectural deliverables to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to project timelines, budget, and technical constraints.
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Business Development:
• Assist in preparing proposals and bids for new projects.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on pitches, presentations, and promotional materials to attract new clients and projects.
• Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to enhance the firm's competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (or a related field) from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect with 5-6 years of professional experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
• Extensive experience in leading large-scale commercial, residential, or institutional projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and successful project outcomes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• LEED certification or experience with sustainable design is a plus.

Skills

• Proficient in 2-D software like Auto-CAD.
• Hands on experience in creating 3-D models using sketchup .
• Skilled in creating renders and walkthroughs using Lumion software.
• Proficient in MS Powerpoint and Adobe photoshop.
