Architect

Role Overview: As an Architect at our India office in Cochin, Kerala, you will be responsible for developing architectural design concepts, preparing construction documentation, and collaborating with engineering disciplines for various building design projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Your role will require strong design skills, technical expertise, and familiarity with UAE project experience and local regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop architectural design concepts, layouts, and presentations based on project requirements. - Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and detailed construction documentation using AutoCAD and other design tools. - Collaborate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and coordinated designs. - Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and client requirements, especially those relevant to UAE authorities. - Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients, consultants, and design leads. - Assist in preparing material specifications, design reports, and tender documents. - Participate in design reviews and contribute to value engineering efforts. - Stay up to date with architectural trends, materials, and regional regulatory updates. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Architecture (B.Arch). - Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience in architecture and design. - UAE experience is highly preferred; strong knowledge of UAE municipal regulations (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DMT, etc.) and authority submission procedures is a strong advantage. - Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office. Knowledge of Revit, BIM, Lumion or 3Ds Max is a plus. - Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and construction detailing. - Excellent visualization, communication, and coordination skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. - Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to design challenges.,
