Job Description

As an Apps Support Intmd Analyst at Citi, you will be a developing professional who deals with most problems independently while having some latitude to solve complex issues. Your role will integrate in-depth specialty area knowledge with industry standards and practices, understanding how your team and area contribute to accomplishing subfunction/job family objectives. It will require analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the application of professional judgment. Your developed communication and diplomacy skills will be essential for exchanging potentially complex/sensitive information, impacting the effectiveness of your team and related teams. Responsibilities: - Provide quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements. - Manage Batch Management, End of version Software's and toolsets Upgrades, Automate Manual Tasks, and Platform Build Project Management. - Maintain application systems in daily operations, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality. - Perform Start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover. - Conduct same-day risk reconciliations and develop technical support documentation. - Identify ways to maximize application potential and assess risk and impact of production issues. - Ensure storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly and consider technology implications. - Act as a liaison between users, internal technology groups, and vendors. - Perform ongoing capacity planning and expansion to meet platform needs and act as an SME to senior stakeholders and team members. Qualifications: - 7-10 years experience in an Application Support role. - Experience with Linux Operating systems and proficient in SQL using Oracle and SQL server DB. - Web application support experience, especially with WebSphere and Weblogic environments. - Exposure to Middleware including TIBCO, NDM, MQ, EMS, Kafka, and SFTP. - Experience with monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos, Kibana, AppDynamics, and Splunk. - Experience with scheduling jobs using Autosys and familiarity with Scrum methodologies and JIRA. - Good to have experience with cloud-based technologies, DevOps, MongoDB, and business application support. - Proficiency in some programming languages and willingness to learn. - Strong analytical skills, issue tracking, and reporting capabilities. - Ability to communicate technical issues in simple terms, plan workload, and organize effectively.
