Job Description

Apps Script Lead Engineer (Google Apps Script)

Exp: 7+ years

Duration: 6 months

Mandatory Skills / Technology:

Other nice to have skills:

GCP Workspace integrations, quotas, and best practices

7+ years of experience in scripting or automation development, with at least 23 years in Google Apps Script.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and experience using HTMLService, triggers, Sheets API, Drive API, and Gmail API.
Strong understanding of Excel/VBA logic, events, data operations, and typical automation patterns.
Familiarity with GCP Workspace integrations, quotas, and best practices.
Experience working in agile delivery models and using Git-based version control.
Ability to guide junior developers and review code effectively.
Strong debugging and problem-solving mindset.
Patient, collaborative, and comfortable supporting non-technical users.
Able to explain trade-offs, constraints, and alternatives clearly.

Duties to be performed

This role requires deep expertise in Apps Script, a strong understanding of VBA logic patterns, and the ability to guide developers, review code, and deliver high-quality automation conversions.
