As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at Citigroup, your role will involve participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements - Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support customer exposure systems - Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, conduct testing and debugging - Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Identify and implement solutions by analyzing information and making evaluative judgments - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment - Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members - Assess risk when making business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations Qualifications: - 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
