Role Overview: You will be responsible for inventing, implementing, and deploying state-of-the-art machine learning and/or specific domain industry algorithms and systems. Your role will involve building prototypes, exploring conceptually new solutions, and working collaboratively with science, engineering, and product teams to identify customer needs. You will create and implement solutions, promote innovation, and drive model implementations. Additionally, you will apply data science capabilities and research findings to scale and develop new intelligence around core products and services through applied research on behalf of customers. Your work will involve developing models, prototypes, and experiments that pave the way for innovative products and services. Furthermore, you will build cloud services that cater to enterprises and work on various technologies such as NLP, NLU, Time Series, ASR, ML, and CV. Your responsibilities will also include designing and running experiments, researching new algorithms, and optimizing risk, profitability, and customer experience, while being conversant on ethical problems in consideration of sciences. Key Responsibilities: - Provide guidance and mentorship to define, design, and deliver product quality improvements from ideation stage to shipping to the customer - Write high-quality code to power experiments and build models - Contribute to writing production model code - Work closely with product management and engineering to deliver products that solve customer needs and strategically differentiate Oracle in the market - Set up environments needed to run experiments for all projects and engage with customers to help solve complex problems - Directly impact customers via innovation in products and services that utilize ML/AI technology - Clearly articulate technical work to audiences of all levels and across multiple functional areas - Keep track of progress and ensure the team is following best practices - Work on training data collection, feature engineering, model training, offline and online experimentation - Drive independent research and development and advance the state-of-the-art machine learning and algorithms for real-world large-scale applications - Ensure solutions are designed with fairness and explainability in mind - May perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Career Level: IC4 (Note: The additional details about the company were not present in the job description),
