Applications Development Manager

Role Overview: You will be part of a dynamic team at UPS, a Fortune Global 500 organization, where you will play a crucial role in driving technology solutions that propel the company forward in the field of Logistics. As a valued Technology professional, you will be instrumental in shaping UPS's digital journey and creating innovative solutions to address complex logistics challenges globally. Key Responsibilities: - Work independently on projects of varying complexity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions - Act as a liaison between Business Development, Development, and Quality Assurance teams, facilitating seamless communication and alignment of objectives - Serve as the primary technical contact with carrier partners and certification teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices - Contribute to the identification of solutions and development of business and functional requirements in a fast-paced, date-driven environment Qualifications: - Highly experienced in requirements elicitation and documentation analysis - Hands-on experience with Software Development tools and proficiency in performing scripting tasks - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other documentation tools - Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Computer Science or a related field (Preferred) - Experience with carrier business rules and industry standards (Preferred) Additional Company Details: UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
