The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst role at Citigroup is an intermediate position that involves collaborating with the Technology team to establish and implement new or updated application systems and programs. Your main goal will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. - Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, estimating time and cost, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and implementing new or revised applications systems and programs to address specific business needs. - Monitor and control all phases of the development process, provide user and operational support, analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes, recommend security measures, and advise users on advanced programming solutions. - Utilize your in-depth knowledge of applications development to analyze issues, evaluate business and system processes, recommend security measures, and ensure successful system design and functionality. - Follow essential procedures, define operating standards and processes, mentor junior analysts, and operate with a limited level of supervision. To be successful in this position, you should have: - Over 8 years of experience in application design, development, and coding, with expertise in Java/J2EE and Angular/React. - Proficiency in RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server, PL/SQL, CI/CD tools (e.g., Git/Jenkins), Microsoft .NET Development, Maven, debugging skills, test-driven development, and end-to-end design and development. - Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
