Application Tester

Job Responsibilities:

Ownership of testing, benchmarking, evaluation and UAT of biometric solutions, i.e., ABIS systems and multi-modal SDKs, for accuracy and performances.

Ownership of designing the test environments and creating test-data sets for biometric solutions.

Ownership of testing new middleware/APIs for biometric solutions, i.e., ABIS and SDKs.

Evaluate the test results using automated tools.

Should be able to co-ordinate with biometric solution vendors and UIDAI Eco-system.

Skill Sets:

Leads testing and integration activities related to biometric solutions, i.e., ABIS and SDKs.

Test automation technologies.

Knowledge of Message Queue systems, Database, Java, C++, APIs (SOAP, REST, Postman-like tools), Data Analytics, MySQL, Linux/Unix, Open source technologies, Python scripting.

Experience in HA and DR setup.

Qualification and Experience:

Should have a degree in engineering/computer sciences/information technology.

Should have over 3+ years of experience in QA/User acceptance testing.

Should have been a lead QA/Test engineer for a project of comparable size.

Knowledge of application-level biometric system integration preferable.
