About the Role

Application Tester

You will play a key role in validating numeric and tabular data, replicating issues reported by users, and ensuring our outputs are clean, accurate, and client-ready all without needing to write code or manage technical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Replicate and analyze issues reported by internal teams and clients.
• Validate application outputs using Excel for data accuracy and consistency.
• Use Excel tools (filters, formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for structured data validation.
• Think from the end-user perspective and question unexpected results.
• Log bugs and anomalies in JIRA or similar issue-tracking platforms.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and support teams to communicate findings and confirm fixes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Provide feedback on feature usability and business logic from a client-centric viewpoint.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in application testing, data validation, or QA support.
• Strong proficiency in Excel especially filters, formulas, and lookups.
• Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and sprint workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and follow structured processes.

What You Dont Need

• No coding, scripting, or automation experience required.
• No technical environment setup or server tools.
• No deep QA frameworks or load testing tools.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with browser-based or SaaS applications.
• Exposure to customer support or product teams.
• Background in legal tech, business intelligence, or data-heavy platforms.
