Application Support

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting:

  Identify and resolve software application issues reported by users or detected through monitoring systems.

• User Support:

  Assist end-users with technical queries, guide them on using applications, and troubleshoot user-reported problems.

• Incident Management:

  Manage and document incidents, prioritize issues, and escalate when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

• Software Maintenance:

  Apply patches, updates, and configuration changes to maintain application stability.

• Root Cause Analysis:

  Investigate recurring or critical issues and implement preventive measures.

• Documentation:

  Maintain accurate records of known issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for knowledge sharing.

• Collaboration:

  Work with developers, system administrators, and IT teams to resolve complex issues and provide feedback on software performance.

• Training and Support Materials:

  Develop user guides, training materials, and conduct training sessions to educate users on software features.

• Monitoring and Performance Optimization:

  Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and suggest optimizations to improve stability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in application support, incident management, or IT support roles.
• Good knowledge of software maintenance, updates, and patch management.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and communicate effectively.
• Strong documentation and user training skills.
